Bogra Bill

A great turnout this week after the small numbers of the previous week. 20 mongrels gathered on the 1st Tee box ready for a romp around the course. Some of us who had enjoyed a week of golf on the magnificent courses of Thailand found the conditions a little testing !! It seems that it is a totally dfferent game when in Dhaka.....!!! May be it was the relaxing massages afterwards that made the difference!!! Anyway, I had better not get started on that one...... !!!!

The golf in general was not very great. We had a visitor, Ian Nibble, who found the course particularly testing coming in with 13 points. However, as is well known, Bill, a visitor and a first timer can not take the honour of Dog Doodoo no matter what !!!! Sooooo, at the "rear end" and Dog Doodoo of the week goes to Bogra Bill Collis on a staggering 16 points. Is this the first time that Bollocky Bill has won this title, I wonder ??? Gus gave him a hard run for his money on 18 points with Leo on 19. At the head of the pack we had Lydia on 31 points in 3rd place, Douglas Broderick in 2nd with 33 points and. Leader of the Pack this week is newcomer, Lars Reichelt on 38 points!!! I have a nasty suspicion that there will be blood....lots of it when Chief Chopper weilds his axe !!!!

With the size of the pack now and with the long winter nights approaching we are going to have to change the tee off time to 12 o'clock midday !!! I can assure you from past experience trying to play the 17th and 18th in the dark doesnt help your score !!!! So starting next Saturday we will play at 12. Please be ready on the tee box at 11.50.
